Cool weather brings classic fall produce to the Farmers Markets

Classic Fall Produce
Markets are transitioning to cooler-weather crops, such as acorn squash, beets, butternut squash, cabbage, carrots, chard, eggplant, kale, mustard greens, oyster mushrooms (Fun Guys Gourmet Mushrooms at selected markets), parsnips, greens, potatoes, sweet potatoes, radishes, spaghetti squash, turnips, a few pears and apples plus persimmons — and of course, pumpkins galore for the next two weekends.
