Wylie TX Residential Sales Report for December

Huge jump in sales! It's a Seller's Market
Single-Family:

Sales jumped a whopping 73% in December as compared to a year ago. The average sales price rose 15% and the median sales price climbed by 21%. We continue to see the sales of upper price range and new construction homes dominate the market. Pending sales  were up by 40% so we can anticipate a good sales number for January.  We did see some more inventory coming on the market with new listings rising by 47% and the number of active listings up 15%. Unfortunately, these increases only caused the months of inventory to increase to 1.3 month.
