Single-Family:
The Lake Highlands and North East Dallas area helt up better that most other areas. Sales were flat instead of down. The average sales price rose 18% with the median sales price climber 13%. Sales continue to be concentrated in the upper price ranges. Pending sales experienced a sharp decline of 24% so we can anticipate that sales will be off in August. The number of new listings dropped 18% with the active listings rose 2%. The months of inventory now stands at 2 months. 6 months is considered a normal market so from that stand point we are still in a Seller's market.
