Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for September

No Slowdown Around Here!
Single-Family:

Sales climbed 11% in September as compared to a year ago. The average sales  increased 10% while the median sales price rose 12%. Sales continue to be concentrated in the $200,000 to $399,999 price range.
Pending Sales were off by 1%. This doesn't look like anything to be concerned about. New listings increased 2% but the number of active listings fell 3%. The months of Inventory now stands at 2.3 months. Inventory remains a problem with buyers having an extremely hard time finding a house to purchase.

Average Sales Price: $277,440
Median Sales Price: $225,000
Pending Sales: 8,546
New Listings: 10,314
Active Listings: 20,054
Months of Inventory: 2.3
