Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for May - North Dallas
Sales in North Dallas took a hit in May. Down 6%. Pending sales also declined by 5%. not sure if this is the start of a trend or just a hiccup. The average sales price rose 16%. The median sales price climbed 13%. Looks like there were several large sales that pulled up these averages. The bad news is a drop of 21% in the number of new listings and a corresponding fall of 11% in the active listings. Not good news if you are a buyer.
