Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for February - Far North Dallas

Sales were not good in Far north Dallas as buyers retreated for the high price market areas. Sales fell 32% and pending sales were not much better down 20%. not setting up for a good March. The average sales price fell 3%. The median sales price declined 15% an additional indication of weak sales in the upper price ranges. new listing rose 19%. The number of active listings jumped  up 37% compared to last February. Months of inventory now stands at 3 months. Still well short of the 6 months considered a balanced market.
