Sales in Garland were up 5% in May. The average sales price rose 19% and the median sales price was also up 19%. As in other areas the sales were concentrated in the upper price ranges.
Pending sales climbed 7%. The number of new listings fell by 21% and the active listings took a sharp drop of 41%. The months of inventory now stands at 1 month. Just as hard to find a home to purchase in Garland as in most other areas.
