Falling oil prices haven’t put brakes on Texas home costs

There’s still no sign that the slowdown in Texas’ energy sector is having an impact on the state’s home prices.
Texas home sales prices were at a record high in the second quarter, according to a report by the Texas Association of Realtors.
Texas median home costs increased 8.1 percent year-over-year to $200,000, the real estate trade group said Monday.
