Wylie, TX Residential Sales Report for July

Single-Family:

Sales were up by 4% in july as compared to a year age. The average Sales Price jumped 17% and the median sales price climber by 23%. As in other areas, the averages are being skewed up due to the large number of sales in the upper price ranges.
Pending sales rose 35% so we can look forward to good sales numbers in August. The number of new listings increased sharply by 36%. The active listings also shot up by 44% and while we need more supply on the market, the months of inventory only rose to 2.1 months. Still a very short supply. About 33% of the homes on the market in MLS are builders new homes.
