Sales were up 12% as compared to this time last year. The average sales price rose 17% and the median sales price climbed 16%. The vast majority of the sale continue to be concentrated in the upper price ranges. As I write this report there are exactly 3 homes for sale in Allen under $200,000.
Pending sales jumped 28% so we can anticipate that May will be a good month. The number of new listings increased by 22% but most of them went under contract quickly. The active listings only increases by 2%. The months of inventory now stands at 1.7 months.
