Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for October

No slowdown 
Single-Family:

Single-family sales rose 8% as compared to last October. The average sales price was 11% higher while the median sales price jumped 13%. Sales continue to be concentrated in the $200,000-$400,000 range with 43% of the total sales. Tomorrow I will give a more comprehensive report on sales by price range.
Pending sales were up 2%. The number of new listings increased 1% but the active listings fell 5%. Not good news if you are a buyer. The months of inventory now stands at 2.2 months.

Sales: 8,418
Average Sales Price: $277,521
Median Sales Price: $225,000
Pending Sales: 8,513
New Listings: 9,734
Active Listings: 19,326
