Single-Family:
Sales increased 46% in this area as compared to a year ago. The average sales price jumped 19% and the median sales price rose 21%. Sales continue to be concentrated in the upper price ranges. Pending sales increased 6% so we are probably looking at a positive sales number for December. The number of new listings climber 15% but most of these were gobbled up by buyers leaving the active listings down 4%. The months of inventory fell to 1.8 months.
