Single-Family:
Sales in McKinney for November were up by 11%. The average sales price rose 12% and the median sales price increases 13%. Pending Sales were flat, don't know what that may mean for December sales. The number of new listings declined 13%. but the active listings rose 18%. Unfortunately this increase in the active listings only drought up the months of inventory to 1.7 months. This is well short of the 6 months that is considered a balanced market.
If you are looking for a home under $200,000, McKinney is not the place to look. As of this writing, there were 2 homes for sale under $200,000.
About 42% of the MLS listings are builder new homes. The average price for these homes is around $430,000.
