Garland TX Residential Sales Report for April

Sales in Garland for April were down 3%. due to the very low supply of homes for sale, buyers are having a difficult time finding a home to purchase. The average sales price rose 17% while the median sales price increased 22%. Sales continue to be concentrated in the upper price ranges. Pending sales were off by 4%. The number of new listings climber by 12% and the new listings jumped 74%. In this market an increase in inventory is always welcome bu the buyers, This increase only took the months of inventory to 1 month. with 6 months being a balanced market, we are still very heavily tilted to the sellers side.
