Richardson TX Residential Sales Report for September
Sales were down for the second month in a row!

Sales in Richardson were down last month by 4%. For September sales were off by 12%. Sales traditionally fall off in the Fall and Winter months but that was not the case during the last several years as demand kept sales above normal. At this point it looks like we are simply reverting back to the traditional norm. The average sales price rose 2% while the median sales price climbed 11%.
Pending sales were down 4% and I am not anticipating a positive sales number for October. The number of new listings increased 6% and the active listings were up 36%. These increases in inventory only took the months of inventory up to 1.6 months. With 6 months being a balances market, it's still very much a Seller's Market in Richardson.
