North Dallas Residential Sales Report for October
Sales were up a healthy 22% in the North Dallas area in October as compared to a year ago. The average sales price fell 16% while the median sales price dropped 21%. There has been some price adjustments and buyers have been able to purchase homes for around 95% of the list price. Pending sales climbed 15%. The number of new listings rose 12% and the active listings were also up the same amount. The months of inventory now stands at 5.7 months. This is very close to the 6 months considered a balanced market.
