Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for December - Garland TX

Sales in Garland just keep on keeping on. Up 9% in December compared to the same time last year. The average sales price rose 16% while the median sales price climbed 13%. Pending sales really took a jump coming in at a 21% increase. New listings saw 24% rise while the active listings were up 41%. While these numbers look good for the supply, they just reflect how low the inventory was last December. The months of inventory really tell the story. It's at 1.1 months. 6 months id considered a balanced market so you can see how we are really tilted to the sellers side.
