Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for January - Far North Dallas
Sales took a large dip in January as compared to last January. Down 24%. The average sales price rose 3% while the median sales price jumped 10%. There is a little distortion in these averages caused by more sales in the higher price ranges than normal. Pending sales showed an increase of 5% so maybe February will be positive. The number of new listings climber 9% while the active listings increased 23%. While this is a slight positive, with the months of inventory coming in at 1.9 months there is really not much for a buyer to chose from.
