Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for January - Lake Highlands/NE Dallas

Sales in January in the Lake highlands area were up 14%. The average sales price rose 14% while the median sales price jumped 22%. These large increases are caused by gyrations in the makeup of the sales compared to last January. Pending sales fell 12%. That does not bode well for February. The number of new listings declined 9%. The active listings were up 5%. The months of inventory remains just about flat at 1.4 months. This area is very much leaning to the sellers side.
