Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for January - Richardson TX 

Sales were up 9% in Richardson for January. The average sales price increased 5%. The median sales price rose 3% as compared to this time last year. Pending sales took a 13% jump so we can anticipate that February sales will be positive. New listings cane in with a 8% increase. The number of active listings climbed a whopping 70%. This number is mis-leading because it just shows how low inventories were last January. The real measure of what's available to buy is the months of inventory which now stands at 1.1 months. 6 months is considered a balanced market. Richardson is defiantly a sellers market!
