Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for February - Carrollton/Farmers Branch
Sales took a hit in the Carrollton/Farmers Branch area in February. down 9%. The median sales price rose 16% while the median sales price climbed 8%. most of the sales are concentrated in the upper price ranges and this is what id pulling the averages up so much. Pending sales were even worse declining 17%. There are buyers out there but they are having a hard time finding a home for there lifestyle due to the ever shrinking inventory. The number of new listings did rise 5% but the active listings fell 9% taking the months of inventory down to 0.8 months.
