Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for May - Far North Dallas
May was a good months for home sales in Far North Dallas. Sales were up 6%. The average sales price increased 2% while the median sales price rose 6%. Unfortunately pending sales fell 9%. Pending sales were also down last month and May still turned out positive so we will have to wait and see what happens in June. The number of new listings jumped 38% taking the active listings up 33%. Good news if you are a buyer. You have more homes to choose from. However, the months of inventory only rose to 3 months. This is still well short of the 6 months that is considered a balanced market. It's still a Sellers market!

New Listings: 187
Active Listings: 270
