Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for July - Richardson TX

Sales retreated in July down 7%. More troubling is the pending sales number. Pending sales fell 14%. Not good for a positive sales number in August. The average sales price did increase 7% while the median sales price jumped 12%. Some more inventory did come on the market with a 6% rise in new listings.  The active listings climbed 55% but this only took the months of inventory to 2 months. with 6 months considered a balanced market Richardson is well over to the sellers side.
