Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for September - Far North Dallas
Sales were up 1% in September compared to last September. That's not much but it beats being down. The average sales price jumped 13% while the median sales price was up 9%. Sales continue to be concentrated in the upper price ranges. Pending sales fell 4%. Not helpful. The number of new listings declined 24% but the active listings were 23% higher than a year ago. The months of inventory now stands at 3.6 months. We are getting closer to a balanced market.
