Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for January - Prosper TX
Homes sales really took a hit in January down 21%. Pending sales were even worse off 24%. The average sales price continued to climb up 4% but the median sales price fell 4% The number of new listings decline 9% and the active listings jumped 28% as compared to last January. The months of inventory now stands at 5.6 months. You can't get much closer to the 6 months considered a balanced market.
