Dallas Area Residential Sales Report for January - Celina TX
When home sales take a 35% drop there is not much to say except things were bad. Pending sales were even worse off 37%. The average sales price increased 7% and the median sales price jumped 13%. Sales that did occur were in the upper price range. New listings increased 17% and the active listings were up 71% as compared to last January. The months of inventory now stands at 5.9 months. You can't get any closer to the 6 months considered a balanced market than that.
